In 2016 Tweed Landcare and Stroud Homes Northern Rivers partnered to deliver tree planting grants valued at $12,125 for Tweed Care Groups and Tweed Landcare members.
Stroud Homes Northern Rivers donated $150 for every home built to Tweed Landcare, 100% of the donation was used to support planting projects in the Tweed. As a result of this grant, Tweed Landcare offered 2 x $700 grants to cover plants, fertiliser, mulch and guards for planting projects.
Over 2000 trees were planted as a result of this Tweed Landcare Grant to TLI members and Care groups.
